Children’s Worker
Gordon
Innes: Gordon joined the Trust in September 2008. Since graduating
from University in 2005 he has been working in Youth and Schools ministry
firstly in Vancouver, Canada and then in Gateshead and Newcastle. Gordon
will mainly be concentrating on work within first and middle schools,
delivering assemblies, lessons and after school activities. He will also
help to develop new church youth programs. He has just completed a diploma
in Children's Evangelism, and is now studying for a degree in Ministry and
Mission.
Youth Worker
Nikki
Carmichael: Nikki joined The Mustard Tree Trust in 2006, after growing-up
through their various school and church activities. Whilst working for the
Trust, she is also studying on the Engage course, for her certificate in
youth ministry. Nikki works within all three school tiers, delivering
assemblies and clubs, and also leads the youth service. She is currently
pioneering The Mustard Tree Trust’s outreach events.
The
Trustees
The trustees formulate all operational policy and budgetary
constraints and have overall authority for the running of the trust. They
are subject in all things to the requirements of the Charity Commission.
Simon
White (Chair of Trustees)
Simon is the vicar of Felton and Longframlington
as well as a diocesan youth advisor. Simon joined MTT as the chair of
trustees in May 2009. He has a wealth of experience in working with young
people and is also a trustee of Contagious youth ministry in Alnwick and of
Youth for Christ.
Lindsay Gilfillan
Lindsay is a GP in Ashington and a member of St Mary's Parish
Church in Morpeth. He is a long term supporter of the work of The Mustard
Tree Trust.
Don Hutton
Don has been involved with education for over 40 years and is
currently a governor at both Bede Academy, Blyth
and Emmanuel College, Gateshead. He
attends Alnwick Baptist Church.
